6. Location Data

Digital Shield collects location data to provide core safety features including real-time location sharing, SOS alerts, safe and danger zone monitoring, and location sharing links. You can control location permissions through your device settings, but this may limit app functionality. Your location history is stored securely for up to 30 days (Premium) or 7 days (Basic) and can be deleted at your request.

7. Location Sharing Links

When you generate a location sharing link, you control who has access, how long the link is valid, and whether it requires a passcode. You can revoke access at any time. Recipients can view your location without creating an account. We log access to sharing links for security purposes.

8. AI Risk Detection

Our AI-powered risk detection analyzes your location patterns, zone interactions, and movement data to identify potential safety concerns. This analysis is performed automatically and alerts are sent to our admin team and your care administrators when potential risks are detected. You can opt out of AI analysis in your settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
